Is it legal to buy wine online from Norway?
According to law from 2009, customers are allowed order wine from abroad. Vinhjem follows all Norwegian rules related to Alkoholloven (the Norwegian alcohol laws). There is no upperlimit to the number of bottles that can be ordered for private use.You can easily order your products at vinhjem.no. All prices include all Norwegian taxes, butshipment and toll come separately at 570 NOK regardless of the whether the shipmentincludes a single bottle or 66 bottles.To order from Vinhjem you must be over 18 years old.
How long does the delivery take?
We have two categories of wines:
- 10 Days Delivery Wines: these wines are delivered within 10 working days from the day they are shipped.
- 20 Days Delivery Wines: these wines are delivered within 20 working days from the day they are shipped.
We try to ship our orders as soon as possible.
Are all taxes included?
All displayed prices already include customs duties, packaging tax, glass tax, value-added tax (VAT) and any other tax. Shipping costs are added separately and calculated at checkout.
Why do you need my National Identity Number (11 Siffer Fødelsummer)?
We request the Norwegian National ID in order for the courier to complete custom clearance. Unfortunately it is not possible to deliver wine to your door without this information.
Where do you deliver?
Your goods will be delivered with either FedEx or Posten. At the moment we only deliver in the Greater-Oslo Area, Lillestrøm, Lørenskog, Asker and Bærum take. For wines already in store, the delivery time is about 10 days. For the wines not in store, it takes about 20 days to arrive.
Delivery outside the aforementioned areas is unfortunately not possible at this moment, but the areas are updated monthly.If you're a member of our newsletter you will get a notification when new areas are added.
