Returns and Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

At Vinhjem, we aim to provide you with high-quality wine and an enjoyable shopping experience. In accordance with the Norwegian Angrerett Act, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days, subject to the terms and conditions below.


Eligibility for Receiving and Returning

  • Only the person specified with the Norwegian personal number (11 digits) provided at the time of purchase can:
    • Receive the package upon delivery.
    • Exercise the right of withdrawal and return the goods.
  • Identification matching the registered Norwegian personal number may be required.


Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days, starting from the day you, receive the goods. If your order includes multiple items delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when the last item is delivered.


How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To cancel your purchase, please contact us within the 14-day withdrawal period. You can reach us by email at shop@vinhjem.it

Include the following information:

  • Your full name and contact details.
  • Your Norwegian personal number (11 digits) for verification.
  • Your order number.
  • A description of the items being returned.
  • Reason for return.


Returning the Goods

  • Goods must be returned in their original, unopened, and undamaged condition.
  • Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense.
  • Returns must be made via a trackable shipping method to ensure the safe return of goods.
  • Returns must be sent no later than 14 days after you notify us of your decision to withdraw.


Refund Policy

  • Refunds cover the cost of the wine only. Taxes, VAT, and customs duties cannot be refunded by us. However, you may apply for a refund of these costs by contacting Skatteetaten and the Norwegian Customs Agency.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days after we receive and inspect the returned goods.
  • Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.


Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Opened or damaged bottles.
  • Bottles that have been stored under unsuitable conditions (e.g., extreme temperatures).
  • Personalized or custom-labeled wine orders.
  • Perishable items or those with a short shelf life.


Privacy and Security
